YFP Nueva Ecija's "Dulaang Magayon"

A call for theatrical youth program upgrade has been initiated by the youth organization, Youth for Peace Movement - Nueva Ecija, to constantly bring deserving public high school students all around the province the moral values and lessons learned by the previous public high schools on the former Tanghal-Dangal youth program.

A re-branding is done to bring everyone the fun and excitement in involvement to a more entertaining and fruitful conduct of the youth development program to their schools.

What's new in this youth program?

Continuing the legacy of the organization on its mission to become the home of cultural leaders for long-term peace and solidarity, we have devised features and guides to make the next youth program more successful and able to maximize its available resources without compromising the quality of the program.

BACK TO BASICS

The organization will be adapting a more traditional way of performing onstage. That's what we call, "back to basics", we will begin from the smallest way possible but the performance quality will continue to grow.

According to the program head of the Dulaang Magayon, Direk Pabs, they will be adapting back to basics in terms of technical setups and will focus its resources to the acting and performing potentials of its student-recitalists, training materials and training facilitators. He is eyeing for improvements of the stakeholders in the conduct of the theatrical recital concert in terms of proper service delivery and to maximize all available equipment present in improving various services related to the improvement of the quality of the show.

The organization will also invest in deploying third party event marshals and ticket personnel not related to the school to maximize profit potential of the program that will be beneficial to both parties that collaborated for the youth development program.

There will be improvements in the processing, distribution and consolidation of the recital show tickets, like the integration of unique bar codes per ticket to ensure proper event & venue management in scanning tickets as used intended for every show, and to avoid fraud on the duplication of tickets on the show and to assess the exact number of audience, artists, staff, teachers and other stakeholders that will enter the venue to watch the theatrical recital show.

PROGRAM MANAGEMENT

The organization will be more careful in the underlying elements inside the show proper and will focus on the featured theatrical piece to have more time for rehearsing the piece itself. There will be no intermissions during the recital show to avoid prolonged duration of the show itself.
