“Live your Life!” (to the fullest)

A collaborative activity of the Youth for Peace Movement – Nueva Ecija, Cabiao National High School and Cabiao National Senior High School, this event has changed the general role of the Tanghal Dangal from being a simple activity going to a new standard of event organization and theater arts production. The activity started in a comprehensive workshop of 60 participants in a whole day activity, then at the end of the day, the organizer selected the characters who will continue to be part of the theatrical show and others will serve as production staff. This kind of systematic selection has been plotted to spot certain personalities that will devote themselves in the field of backstage and technical production. The comprehensive workshop has been done last July 29, 2017 at Sotto Gymnasium, Cabiao National High School.

A total of 29 participants and some backstage personnel joined the theatrical show that was held at the same venue from November 10-11, 2017.

Live your Life! is a story telling about different life’s perspectives from being young up to being old in a single stage play. This illustrates the positive and negative sides of a certain decision which roots from pregnancy and sexual activity. The lesson of the story pertains to the consequences of family life and broken relationships, on the other side, the life of being poor and dwelling in streets is also depicted in the said theatrical play.

According to the theatrical coordinator, Ms. Shirley S. Santiago, the turnout of all tickets for the Junior High School is 2,575 and 1,400 for the Senior High School. In terms of revenue and ticket marketing, this theatrical production surpasses the target market and every party contributing to this production benefited in a way on its conduct, in the best way possible.

The faculty, staff, students and other spectators of this theatrical show applauded the theatrical show for bringing reality of life to the eyes of the youth (the students) in the municipality of Cabiao, Nueva Ecija, through Cabiao National High School.

The said production has been supported by various organizations and business establishments like Heartnet Photographics for the artists to experience a grand photoshoot and photo coverage during the gala show. Nueva Ecija TV48 also gave them the chance to have a Special TV Guesting and experience the life of being artists in facing the cameras in a studio-type setup. Dr. Soundz Recording Studio gave the student-actors the chance to have their voices recorded through sophisticated studio recording equipment. Meanwhile, Atomix Mobile System of the Municipality of Paniqui, Province of Tarlac supplied the technical materials needed by the theatrical production for the second time around.

This theatrical play, in the preparation & general output, have been rendered the best and effective performance in terms of technicities, promotions, production value and astounding event elements in a one single theatrical production.
