Being established though the efforts of the 7th Civil-Military Operations Battalion in the supervision of Colonel Wilfredo M. Villahermosa INF (GSC) PA, Former Commander of the said battalion and Founding Adviser of the Youth for Peace Movement – Nueva Ecija last November 9, 2015 at the 7CMO Bayanihan Center, Fort Ramon Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija in the graduation of 49 delegates of the 1st Provincial-Wide Youth Leadership Summit 2015, approved by the 7th Infantry (KAUGNAY) Division, Philippine Army and supported by the 703rd Infantry (AGILA) Brigade. This organization has been established through the leadership of the organizer of the 1st Provincial YLS, Theatrical Director, Youth Advocate and Theatrical Critic, Mr. Joseph Edralin Lewis DC. Pablo.
They are tasked to be the youth implementing arm engaging youth development and sustainable development programs inclined with the AFP IPSP Bayanihan Program in their assigned area of responsibility, the whole province of Nueva Ecija.
They have their core youth development activity entitled the “Youth Leadership Summit”, partnering with their assigned military unit in the implementation of the said youth program.
This program is a military-driven leadership activity formulated to make the youth to become nationalistic and morally responsible in their actions, and benefiting the whole nation through their participation in various volunteer activities initiated by the organization.
On the 1st Inter-Municipal YLS last June 2016, the program has been molded another 38 provincial participants that are represented coming from various municipalities in the whole province of Nueva Ecija.
A total of 84 participant-members consist of the whole Youth for Peace Movement, mandated by organizational goals and happily serving the youth in the spirit of volunteerism, driven by the goal bringing the youth to development in global standards and uplifting the spirit of nationalism through volunteerism.
YFP Nueva Ecija Members, including the participants of the Tanghal-Dangal Program (needed to undergo YLS for them to become a YFP Member) are tallied as follows in respect to their municipalities:

Municipality of Nampicuan – 23
Muncipality of San Isidro - 7

The Youth for Peace Movement’s mission is to be a culturally-inclined youth leaders for finding and sustaining long-term peace initiatives & activities that will make the youth informed of various issues and retrospect involving every one of them, giving different moralistic values and lessons, building strong friendship and camaraderie to everyone, engaging to activities that will promote strong unity and teamwork aiming for the goals as same as the values shown leading to greater national transformation, following the Armed Forces of the Philippines Road Transformation Roadmap.
