Guidelines for the aspiring YFP Tanghal-Dangal 2019 Performers

Aspiring artists must prepare themselves prior to the staging of the theatrical recital performance. They must undergo various trainings, workshops and activities that will boost their confidence and acting skills. When the workshop master/director determined that they are ready, they will experience in putting their best foot onstage in giving justice to the characters of the theatrical show. (Mr. Maenard A. The following are the revised guidelines for event execution as planned by the YFP Planning Committee and approved by the mother organization, as based on the past theatrical production experience of the YFP Program Head on the previous partner schools:

ARTISTIC REQUIREMENTS FOR CHOOSING THE MAIN STAGE PERFORMERS:

1. Must be able to sing with good/pleasant tone of voice to be enhanced in the theatrical program.

2. Must be able to dance in an interpretative way of dancing, with grace and flexibility.

3. Must be able to act effectively in intensive scenes that require physical contact.

4. Must have good moral attitude towards everyone and able to respect decisions for the betterment of the production, must be flexible and versatile in all aspects of performing arts.

5. Must have good quality speaking voice in a theatrical form of acting in a well-disciplined manner of performing onstage and able to bond with everyone offstage.

6. Must be able to work well with the production staff with respect and rapport.

REQUIREMENTS FOR CHOOSING THE PRODUCTION STAFF FOR THE PRODUCTION:

1. The production staff must be well-oriented with what he/she can do and must focus on everything in doing her best to properly perform in the tasks required backstage.

WEEK 1: SCREENING OF PARTICIPANTS

1. All the interested participants will be undergoing an initial screening and a final screening. The initial screening covers all the activities for the selection of the final production team and the final screening will be for the selection of the characters. The activity is open to all bona fide students of the partner school and must accomplish the application form provided by the organization with attached parental consent allowing them to join and participate the said activity.

2. After the screening processes, the production will convene as a team who will work ahead, rehearse and prepare for the final recital day as scheduled.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

1. Upon submission of your application form, it would be understandable whether you made it on the production or not, the parent's consent form will apply on the whole activity unless the effectivity of the application form is hereby revoked by the organization, for security and safety purposes.

2. All the passers for the YFP Tanghal-Dangal as official performers will be announced here in the official website and on the official facebook page of YFP Nueva Ecija. All passers on the initial screenings will attend the Acting and Production Workshops and the final cast and production staff will be determined during the workshop. The final list of the characters and production staff will be announced in the official facebook groups of the YFP Tanghal-Dangal 2019.

3. Upon determination of the final set of cast and staff, a whole-day orientation and first casting call will be held to brief the participants on what would they expect on the whole duration of the activity.

4. Application Forms can be downloaded here in the official website of YFP Nueva Ecija and on the Official Facebook Page.

5. Please carefully read and review the terms and conditions as stated in the application form and on the terms and conditions in participation on the activity, as further clarifications and queries would be clarified on the orientation day. If there would be objections on the terms and conditions, it should be addressed directly to the organization's representative and let him decide about the matter.

6. YFP Nueva Ecija reserves the right to re-cast and call for additional auditions and screenings for artists and production staff as deemed necessary for the quality of the theatrical presentation.
